15th Annual Denton Redbud Festival
The Denton Redbud Festival is the official Arbor Day event for the City of Denton, Texas. The Redbud Festival, in addition to being an Arbor Day celebration event, also includes a Home and Garden Show with more than 60 booths showcasing a wide variety of gardening, landscaping, and home improvement products. KDB welcomes attendees of all ages, and will feature a Kids Zone complete with bounce houses and children's environmental activities to keep young festival goers entertained. Great American Cleanup a Huge Success!
On Saturday, March 1st, Keep Denton Beautiful (KDB) hosted the 2008 Great American Cleanup, a citywide litter cleanup and community beautification event. In yet another year of record turnout, 870 volunteers removed almost 360,000 pounds of trash from roadways, waterways, hiking trails, and community areas throughout Denton. More...
