2011-2012 Environmental Education Grants
Keep Denton Beautiful continues to work at effectively teaching children to appreciate and value the earth and to become active caretakers of its resources. Our Environmental Education Grants program is an annual opportunity for Denton educators to fund environmental learning projects.
Keep Denton Beautiful understands just how important educators are in a students life, and we would like to extend a helping hand to any educator in the city of Denton interested in partnering with us on an environmental project.
Previous grants have funded projects such as recycling, butterfly gardens, campus tree plantings, native and Texas adapted landscape gardens, vegetable gardens, and composting programs.
