The Denton Redbud Festival is the official Arbor Day event for the City of Denton, Texas. The Redbud Festival, in addition to being an Arbor Day celebration event, also includes a Home and Garden Show with more than 60 booths showcasing a wide variety of gardening, landscaping, and home improvement products. On Saturday, March 1st, Keep Denton Beautiful (KDB) hosted the 2008 Great American Cleanup, a citywide litter cleanup and community beautification event.
