2008 Stream Clean — Fall Waterway Cleanup Event

Stream Clean is a volunteer cleanup event targeting specific waterways in and around Denton. Cleaning up our waterways is important not only because it helps Denton look better, but because it impacts our quality of life. The event is presented by Denton Water Utilities in partnership with Keep Denton Beautiful.
We are looking for dedicated cleanup volunteers who want to make a difference in our community. Cleaning these areas cuts down on the amount of pollution that can end up in our area lakes, Denton's primary sources of drinking water. Reducing the pollution in our lakes effectively increases the safety and welfare for all Denton residents as well as the other surrounding communities.
